For Amy and I, our stay at Halo House has been a gift from God. We were facing a lengthy stay in Houston. Maybe up to a year. Renting a furnished apartment was just not in our budget. Amy who was weak from leukemia was facing long commutes to get the only treatment able to save her life. Halo House gave us a safe and secure home to stay, with a very reasonable rent so Amy can get the best of care. Being ‘under the halo’ as we call it, gives us both peace and security that is so important to healing.
